About the AB 1825 California Law

  • Companies with 50+ employees must provide sexual harassment prevention training to all supervisors within 6 months of hire or promotion.
  • Training must be at least 2 hours in duration and must be interactive.
  • Effective January 1, 2021, employers with 5+ employees must train both supervisory and non-supervisory employees within 6 months.
  • Supervisor training: 2 hours minimum. Non-supervisor training: 1 hour minimum.
  • As of January 1, 2015, companies must include prevention of abusive conduct in the training curriculum.
